JENNY KO

I was a magazine fiend when I was little, everything from Teen Vogue to Rolling Stone to science magazines such as Discover. Those culture-portals, much like social media today, had the visual awareness I craved and were glimpses into the values we all held. They offered an escape, as did growing up within an hour of Orlando, FL. With all the best Disney theme parks at my fingertips, I nurtured an early fascination with experiential and lifestyle branding.

As I grew older, I came to really believe in the power of aesthetics and innovation to give power to a message. I graduated Miami Ad School with a certificate in Art Direction and Florida International University with an MA in Global Strategic Communication. Before that, I received my BA in Art History with a focus on Visual Culture and Commercial Art from Florida International University and as far back as high school, I attended a communication technologies program.

Since my time as a mini-magazine fiend, I've evolved and now occupy my thoughts with how art direction, strategy, and creativity can come together to solve problems, influence, and inspire.

I'm also actively trying to find the answer to other burning questions such as how do I really feel about Morrissey and how can some people not love bubble tea? I'm always searching for answers, big and small.
